It's obviously true that the Internet made possible to retrieve almost anything, if so we desire... But this great wealth of resources makes me feel a bit... Well, demotivated. The most I have to struggle for what I desire, the most I value it, then. Actually, when I have books ready at hand, I needs YEARS to read them. That's why I love public libraries. Plus, I found reading e-text extremely fatiguing.
Thus, I prefer to read actual books or to print down e-texts whenever possible.
May it be that I underrate the problem, but I believe that poetry as a genre is made up by the use of meter. What is tha every poem has in common? Meter. Be it based on tonic syllables or the lenght of them.
Right now, I'm listening to Sepultura. I'have a couple more of cds in my sack, either... Afterhours, "Ballads for little hyenas"; "Eyes Wide shut o.s.t.", "The thin red line o.s.t."; Black Sabbath "Paranoid"... I have quite a broad range of genres of music to listen to...
Mr. D. came out when I first ventured on the world of internetian Forii. I was deep intrigued (as still I am today actually) by works from Neil Gaiman, and devised the nick out of two characters of his comics: Dr. Dee and Mister E. Plus, I thought that it could be read in many ways, as preferred by the reader ("D stands for many things...") and that too sounded good for me.
Have I to introduce myself??? Of course I have... Let's say say then, I'm an Italian student of philosophy, who struggles to get a degree in Aesthetics in the city of Bologna, without any relevant success 'till now... But one day I shall!!!
I stumbled upon this forum while searching for some study 'bout meta-ethics and really have I to admit that I'm so glad for this discovery... Hope I could help to improve it!
P.S.: being not a native speaker of english, I surely will make mistakes of an almost awful nature... And for this, I make apologize from now on.
