The Apologist's Activity

  1. The Apologist added a post in a topic Say hello to the lurkers

Some people lurk because they don't have time to get involved in profound or prolonged discussions.

This blog is that of my friend, a truly extraordinary philosopher and writer: http://crozier.tangerinecs.com/blog/

Thanks, Phil. Don't get me wrong; I do intend to participate, but I'm generally not given to posts of any substantial length. Laziness, maybe.

What do you consider that spirit to be, mosaic?

Bree: I live two minutes from that intersection. That's quite a coincidence.

American River College. After this upcoming sophomore year, I'll probably find myself at Sac State, finishing my undergraduate studies. The real question is where I'll go for grad school.

Where did you live in Sacramento?

This is Matt. I'm nineteen, going to college here in Sacramento. At present, the plan is to double-major in English and philosophy and minor in music, which selections are reflective of my interests and what I consider my areas of greatest potential. The notion of being an academician appeals to me, so it seems likely that I'll be in school for as long as I can, perhaps both as a teacher (of philosophy, I hope) and as a student.

You should know that I consider myself a Christian, one whose spirituality and devotion are of utmost concern, but I advise you to make as few assumptions regarding my beliefs as you can.

I prefer listening to speaking, and reading to writing, and I'm here primarily for my own growth and enlightenment, so I can't promise any profound contributions to the dialogue (not that I'm really capable of those anyway).

    Pleased to meet you all.
