Niven Kumar, that is likely due to the browser you are using. If it is out of date, then the chat software (java applet) will not work right.

I wrote a book on philosophy. The title is Sensoryism. I published it in April 2013. Sensoryism is a new philosophy that I created between 2007 and 2013. Sensoryism is a combination of empiricism, dualism, theism and supernaturalism. I don't have a degree in philosophy. Sensoryism is my first book and my only book. I'm new to this website and I'm new to the philosophy community. I'm in my 30s and I live in the United States.

:welcome: J. Pierson.

Perhaps you'd care to start a thread on your new philosophy, so we may better understand what it's all about.

Mid 20s, born and raised in the Netherlands, male, working in cleaning at the moment but I'd like to do something with sports physiology, nutrition or health or something in the future.

I like martial arts, music (especially black metal lately), nature, food, strolling, exercising, the darker side of life and looking at kittens and butt gifs on the internet.

Welcome, IchBinDormin. This is a sleepy corner of the internet where deep thinkers come out of slumber every now and then when there's a disturbance in the force, naturally brought along by drive by posters or the occasional profound thought or the dirty joke.

Hi, I'm Jasper. I used to be a member of this site, but that was a long time ago and I doubt anyone remembers me. My old username was alviraofdeath. Well, I'm glad to be back!

Thought I would come back now that I've gotten a bit more life experience under my belt. :):)

It's been a crazy few years and maybe I'll have something a little more educated to offer this time around!

Hey guys,

37, American male (of English and Russian descent). I think Western Civilization, so called, is a catastrophe. I wish I was born to the Hopi, or the Sioux, or the Ashaninka, long before they encountered Europeans.

Book: The Brothers Karamazov

Film: The Elephant Man

Music: Roky Erickson

I'd call my thinking a blend of the Apophatic, Shamanic, and Archetypal.

In my 20's, I thought I must be some odd species of genius, visionary, or savant. More recently, I've largely let go of any notions of being special. I have self-published two books; one of aphorisms, another of homilies and fragments. You can read excerpts here:

Pleased to meechas!

Hello Valus! Unfortunately you've signed on a board that's nearing its date of extinction, and will not find much activity here beyond the occasional spam. We do have a large collection of topics to review, so feel free to revive one or two. But do not expect much activity.

Cheers!
