Hello,

I've read a lot of stuff on this forum but only recently decided to post and engage with the community. I'm an undergraduate studying philosophy at Cornell University. I'm mainly interested in ethics (especially the conflict between Schopenhauer and Nietzsche on the affirmation of life) and political philosophy.

A little history- I have long engaged in internal warfare on along the lines spoken of by Peculiar Philosopher. Admittedly, I have Schopenhauer-esque tendencies (disposition), but I'm a haunted, fluctuating creature, infused with horror, but not beyond awe.

Suffice it to say, our very own Peculiar Philosopher, as I had transformed into the court jester, stinging the antinatalist "community" wherever I could, dropped in like Hume on meth, slicing through the jester act, and, in short, "he brought me out of an horrible pit, out of miry clay" (Psalm 40:2).

He's definitely my brotha from anotha motha.
